La Vita è Bella Retreat, "Life Is Beautiful", is an invitation to immerse yourself in your yoga and movement practice, breathe deeply and find the beauty in life’s simple moments. Located in the Italian countryside north of Rome, this experience offers a peaceful escape from the rush of daily life. Here, you can allow time to slow down as you nourish your body, mind and soul through mindful movement, locally grown food and authentic human connection.

This serene location offers a perfect escape from the city’s hustle while being conveniently close to Rome’s airports, making arrivals and departures hassle-free. Olea provides an ideal setting for relaxation while staying connected to modern conveniences.
The Sabine Hills have views aplenty, with natural springs, rivers and streams, countryside walks and nature reserves.
From our peaceful venue Sabina’s historic villages are within easy reach, with breath-taking panoramic views, artisanal traditions and gastronomic delights. You can walk to the historic local village Casperia within 35 minutes, between the left bank of the River Tiber and the western slope of the Sabine Hills.
The lodging at Olea is a tranquil haven tucked away in the green hills. You’ll stay in one of two charming Italian farmhouses that have been newly renovated and designed with comfort and artistry in mind.
The extensive grounds are cultivated with care and reverence for nature with shaded terraces, intimate hideaways and quirky nooks. The magnificent, shaded outdoor yoga platform designed by Marco Antonini, perches on the hillside overlooking the valley and brook below. It is surrounded by stunning views and the natural splendour of cypresses, olive groves and walnut trees.
The restful, refreshing swimming pool, the myriad outdoor and indoor spaces for leisure and practice, the simple, elegant, distinctive bedrooms with artworks by local and international artists are all designed to nurture, soothe and inspire.
If you are joining with a friend or family member, you have the option to share a room and ensuite bathroom. If you’d like a shared room and are joining us solo, you will be matched with other retreat participants seeking to share accomodations. Prices are per person. Rooms will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis!

Surrounded by nature’s abundance, you'll savor delicious, seasonal plant-based meals grown from the earth beneath your feet. Meals and great conversation will be shared on the outdoor terrace family style at a long table. These Italian inspired meals created with love by our chef will be a highlight of the trip!
All food; three meals a day plus snacks and non-alcoholic drinks are included during your stay. We will have organic, local wine with dinner on the final night of the retreat to celebrate our time together, which is a part of the retreat package. Dietary accommodations are available as long as you let us know ahead of time when filling out your retreat form.
The retreat program offers intentional curated experiences based on daily themes to create your own personal "La Vita è Bella" (Life is Beautiful) Moments.
Each morning begins with an invigorating mindful movement practice to awaken your body, followed by a delightful breakfast enjoyed around a long wooden table on the outdoor terrace with stunning panoramic views.
Post-breakfast you can participate in the group excursion or workshop, or choose to relax and rejuvenate in nature on your own, to nurture your mind, body, and soul.
A daily journaling practice is encouraged to cultivate the space for conscious reflection, allowing you to explore what feels light or heavy in your life, identify what you are ready to release, and clarify what you want to invite into your journey moving forward.
After the afternoon's adventure, a delicious lunch is served on the outdoor terrace where you can enjoy the views and connect with others.
The afternoons provide an opportunity to do your journaling and to unwind by the beautiful outdoor pool or in one of the many peaceful and tranquil spots within the retreat sanctuary.
One of the highlights of Olea is the incredible 150-square-meter outdoor yoga deck, with it’s breath-taking panoramic views of the valley below. For cooler moments of the day, there’s also a fully equipped indoor yoga shala.
As part of the retreat week, you’ll also enjoy a half-day river hike and a 3-hour Italian cooking class to further enrich your experience of the local landscapes and cuisine.
For those seeking additional activities, a ceramics workshop, vineyard tour and wine tasting, or massages can be booked separately.
Evenings are dedicated to an early dinner and a sunset meditation practice afterwards. You can experience different meditation styles from guided and silent meditations to dynamic techniques, creating a serene close to each day.
On the retreat’s final day, the closing workshop provides a chance to reflect on the week’s experiences and gain clarity about your personal life path moving forward.

Trina has training in many different forms of movement, such as yoga, mat pilates, barre, and strength. Since we’ll be on the mat twice a day, the schedule will be balanced so that your body always feels refreshed.
Mindful movement, such as yoga, calls for us to turn inward and meet what awaits us with an open heart. In this week-long retreat, you will be guided to meet your inner self with kindness and compassion, moving out of your head and into your heart through practices that encourage lightness, reflection, and deep rest.
Each morning, we’ll flow through a yoga practice that is both gentle and energizing, inspired by the joy we can generate simply through movement.
In the evenings, we will take deep rest with yin and restorative practices, plus yoga nidra, and we’ll explore the vibrational healing of sound.
These practices allow us to enter a stillness in which we can see ourselves and our circumstances with greater clarity.
