Cultivate Unyielding Strength
Zen Warrior is a principle...a mindset.
A belief that brave and courageous first responders and soldiers can be more than
just a service to their communities, country, and to others.
The Zen Warrior possesses the ability to fight and protect not only others, but themselves,
while developing the necessary physical and mental strengths and skills to accomplish the mission.
Zen Warrior offers first responders and military a practical and accessible
approach to wellness, yoga and mindfulness techniques.
A method that encourages first responders and military to not only care for themselves,
but introduces a skillset to enhance optimal levels of on-the-job duties,
from decision making to tactical skills.
The Zen Warrior vision is to help more first responders and military personnel
prioritize their mental, emotional, and physical well-being.
In order to live a higher quality life, maintaining optimal wellness is key.
First Responder mental health relates to overall well-being and directly affects actions and emotions. In order to subdue stress, develop positive coping strategies, and build resilience, invest in wellness and stress regulation training.
The techniques and skills taught trains a skill set for: processing the inevitable stress of a career in emergency services and building mental, physical and emotional resilience. To create a cultural shift, supporting first responder mental health through modes of mindfulness and yoga modalities can reduce the misconceptions that mental and emotional health challenges are signs of weakness.
